Miami Beach, FL – For the second year in a row, STORETECH+CO. is exhibiting at the SwimShow held at the Miami Beach Convention Center.  Hosted by the Swimwear Association of Florida, and widely recognized as the premier swimwear show in the industry, SwimShow draws buyers from all over the world.

Surf Board Display

For this year’s show, STORETECH is once again showing attendees why they are at the forefront of innovation in the industry.  First, they have unveiled a new Surf Board Retail Display that has been a huge hit at the show.  The custom fixture is perfect for retailers looking to creatively display swim or surf merchandise in their retail stores.

Another new addition for this year’s show at the STORETECH Booth is the presences of Vislogix Holo-iTouch. Holo-iTouch is the world’s first all-in-one transparant touch screen system that is plug-and-play ready and comes complete with every required component right out of the box.  STORETECH aims to integrate this innovative technology into retail store designs for their clients.  The system will be installed in the storefront glass, creating an interactive “touch” experience for customers who are outside of the store.

Padrino’s Cuban Bistro – 1 Year in Orlando

On May 5th, Padrino’s Cuban Bistro celebrated their one year anniversary in the Orlando area.  Located in The Village At Hunter’s Creek (John Young & 417), they have seen many of their neighbors close their doors during these tough economic times.  However, with over 25 years of experience and a focus on excellence in service and quality food, Padrino’s has created a recipe for success.

Padrino’s Cuban Bistro is owned and operated by Mario Padrino and his wife Nayde.  With locations in Hallandale, Plantation, and Boca Raton, the Padrino’s know a thing or two about running a restaurant.  More importantly, they know how to create excellent Cuban Cuisine.  So good in fact, that renowned food critic Scott Joseph recently wrote “I’m prepared to call this the best Cuban food in Central Florida, it’s really that good!”

We are very excited about the Padrino’s accomplishments, and wish them many years of success here in Orlando.  As I think about what the Padrino’s have achieved here, I can help but recount the journey that brought the Padrino’s to Orlando and how STORETECH+CO helped to make it all possible.

The road to Padrino’s Cuban Bistro began about 200 miles South in our corporate office in Delray Beach.  It was there that Mario Padrino approached STORETECH owner and President, Glenn Calabrese, about his desire to expand into Central Florida.  With a branch office in Central Florida and an existing relationship in place with the Padrino’s, STORETECH was the perfect company to bring this concept to fruition.

With three very successful location in S. Florida, the Padrino’s knew they a concept that could be replicated with success.  The key to that success has always been their commitment to excellence in all areas of their operation.  From kind service to quality food, Padrino’s never disappoints.  With an expansion into Central Florida, however, everyone agreed that we should shake things up a little.

The concept for Orlando was going to focus on serving the exact same quality recipes that have made Padrino’s a success for so many years; however, the difference in Orlando was going to be the presentation.  For the first time, Padrino’s was going to offer a full-bar featuring unique menu of Mojitos and other specialty drinks.  Top that with a new selection of “bistro-style” cuisine, and Padrino’s Cuban Bistro was born!

Since their opening in May of 2008, Padrino’s has become a staple in Hunter’s Creek; a true local favorite.  Urbanspoon.com now ranks Padrino’s Cuban Bistro as the #4 Cuban Restaurant in all of Orlando and the #4 Best Restaurant in all of  S. Forty VII Clothing – Orlando, FL

Forty VII Clothing is the latest full-service project for STORETECH in the Orlando Market.  As a result of our marketing campaign with Surf Expo in January 2007, we met owner Pete Downing and Jeff Faine who were looking to open a fashion forward retail clothing store in Downtown Orlando.  With over 28 years of retail design experience and a great understanding of how to help our clients reach their target customers, STORETECH was the ideal solution for Forty VII.

We began the process in early February by learning more about the Forty VII Clothing concept.  Their goal was to be integrated into the Orlando nightlife scene and offer fashion forward clothing & accessories in an environment that was truly original.  Through the design process we were able to develop an atmosphere that rivals some of the finer nightclubs in the area, yet maintains a sophistication that would be envied by leading retailers.  The store features exposed concrete floors, 20′ exposed ceilings, concrete columns, custom brick veneers, a VIP Room, and an elevated mezzanine for featured DJ’s & Musicians.

As a full-service provider, STORETECH is also the General Contractor for this project.  While we’ve faced a few challenges along the way, we’ve once again proven why STORETECH is one of the best in the industry at overcoming obstacles and producing results.  Furthermore, because our construction crews are in constant communication with our design team, we’ve been able to make field changes and timely decisions that have helped our clients to save both time & money.  There are very few companies that are able to provide such reliable & effective service in this industry.

To further separate STORETECH from the competition, we are one of the only design & construction companies that also provides custom millwork and retail fixtures to our clients.  Through STC Displays, we are able to offer retail fixtures and displays; truly completing the turnkey operation.  For Forty VII Clothing we were able to provide our clients with a custom cash wrap, nesting tables, slatwall displays, two way racks, waterfalls, straight arms, mannequins, body forms, and even a custom coffee table that serves as the watch display.

Slated to open in early November, Forty VII Clothing will revolutionize the retail shopping experience in Downtown Orlando. The store is 3600 SF of space located at The Plaza in Downtown Orlando (corner of Church St. & Magnolia).  Forty VII will carry everything from boutique lines, street wear, fashion forward surf/skate, sneakers, denim, and contemporary for men and women. Playing along with the downtown nightlife Forty VII will stay open late every night. Besides great clothing Forty VII will also feature some of the best artwork and music that Orlando has to offer.

Sinigual – Brandon, FL

Brandon, FL – In May 2008, StoreTech announced the completion of Sinigual at the Brandon Towne Center Mall in Brandon, FL.  StoreTech was awarded the Construction contract for $1.2 Million and asked to complete the project in an aggressive 90 day job schedule.  The 7,500 SF Full Service restaurant is part of a recent expansion of the Brandon Towne Center Mall which is owned and operated by Westfield Malls.  Sinigual, which is the first Florida location for the concept, joins The Cheescake Factory and California Pizza Kitchen as the newest additions to the Mall.
